Does amusement equipment experience any impact in various severe weather conditions? If so, how significant is the impact? What are the countermeasures? Below, we will reveal the impact of large-scale amusement equipment in dusty weather and the appropriate countermeasures to be taken.
(I) Impact on the hydraulic system and countermeasures
Impact: Taking the hydraulically powered JUNENG spacecraft as an example, its newly replaced filter with a precision of 5 will trigger a pressure difference alarm in the oil filter detection system after about 30 days of operation. This phenomenon is caused by the long-term blockage of the hydraulic system due to dirty oil filters, leading to a pressure difference alarm.
Measures: Use high-pressure flushing. If the effect is not satisfactory, consider replacing the oil filter; perform dust prevention treatment for the machine room.
(II) Impact on pneumatic system and countermeasures
Impact: Dust clogs the filter (taking the air-pressure-based Tian Di Shuang Xiong and Jian Feng Shi Jian as examples), leading to high temperature alarms at the air intake, which in turn causes equipment downtime.
Measures: Use high-pressure gas to clean the air filter, regularly clean the filter cotton in the cabinet door, replace the filter cotton in a timely manner, and periodically replace the expired air filter; add gas filtering devices to enhance the precision of the existing filtering devices.
(III) Impact on equipment gear train and countermeasures
Impact: The impact of sand and dust weather on equipment gear trains is primarily manifested in increased wear and tear on the gear trains, significantly shortening the service life of the wheels; it also increases the amount of oil used by the equipment and the cost of auxiliary materials.
Measures: Conduct daily morning inspection, use a cloth with kerosene or diesel to clean the oil sludge on all wheels, and then reapply wax grease; conduct weekly inspection, and clean the dust accumulated on the equipment over a large area.
IV) Impact on electrical system and countermeasures
Impact: The air filter cotton in the electrical cabinet is clogged, leading to a decline in heat dissipation performance and resulting in component burnout; the flexibility of the actuator decreases, making it impossible to reset and triggering an alarm shutdown.
Measures: Regularly clean or replace the filter cotton in the electrical cabinet; regularly use a vacuum cleaner to clean the dust inside the electrical cabinet.
(V) Preventive measures against sand and dust weather
Preparatory measures: Procurement of protective materials, primarily to address strong winds, dust, sandstorms, etc;
Emergency measures: On-site protection, with outdoor transmissions, drives, external pneumatic valve bodies, electronic sensors, operation consoles, etc. as the main targets.
Restoration of operation: removal of protective equipment, trial operation of equipment, and restoration of equipment operation.
