In order to further improve the quality of sound restoration, some dome movie theaters internationally have adopted multi-channel laser sound restoration methods. The sound restoration method of the dome shaped movie theater at the China Science and Technology Museum relies on an eight track recorder to use the six channel accompanying sound signals on a magnetic tape as the sound source.
